PARELLE, Marc-Antoine
?Paris – Colombes, Hauts de Seine 4.XI.1793 French genre painter of whom little is known. There is no evidence that he worked in pastel. We know from the inv. p.m. of his sister-in-law, Marie-Louise Beau, that Marc-Antoine Parelle, peintre à Paris, demeurant rue de la Chaussée d’Antin, was (by 1768) married to Marie-Louise- Simonne Castelli. This is confirmed also by the subsequent marriage of their son Louis-Jean- François Parelle in Colombes, 1795. (source)
